In short
Octet Operator uses accounts (anonymous, Sign in with Apple, or Google) and stores your training progress, results and leaderboard submissions on our servers so they follow you between devices. Usage analytics are off by default and only collected if you turn them on. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not buy data about you. Cookies
mmcxllc.com sets one first-party cookie: mmcx_consent. It stores whether you accepted or declined analytics, lasts one year, and exists so we can remember that choice. A matching value is kept in local storage so the banner stays dismissed. That cookie is necessary for the consent mechanism itself.
Analytics stay off until you press Accept. Decline keeps them off. After Accept, mmcxllc.com sends an anonymous page view to PostHog on its European Union host (eu.i.posthog.com). The event uses a random first-party id. It does not include your name or email. We do not load the PostHog browser SDK. We do not record sessions. We do not autocapture forms. We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not collect personal information or browsing behaviour on this website before you accept.
The light/dark theme toggle stores your choice in local storage (mmcx-theme). That is a local preference, not a cookie, and is not used for analytics.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which may set its own technically necessary cookies for security and delivery. We do not use those for analytics.

Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data yourself, in the app, at Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you're on an older version, update the app or email us and we'll do it for you.
Subscriptions and payments
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple but never see your payment details, card numbers, or Apple ID credentials. Complimentary access for eligible Backstage Tech Skool community members is granted without a purchase. Cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings.
California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to opt out of sale (we don't sell it), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Exercise them at the contact address below.
EEA and UK Residents (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you rights over your personal data — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent — together with the legal bases we rely on and the safeguards for any international transfer. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect information, including row-level security on our database so that, as a rule, you can only read your own records.
