MMCX LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Octet Operator mobile application and the octetoperator.com website.

In short

Octet Operator uses accounts (anonymous, Sign in with Apple, or Google) and stores your training progress, results and leaderboard submissions on our servers so they follow you between devices. Usage analytics are off by default and only collected if you turn them on. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not buy data about you. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data yourself, in the app, at Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you're on an older version, update the app or email us and we'll do it for you.

Subscriptions and payments

If you purchase a subscription or a one-time upgrade, Apple processes your payment. We receive confirmation of your purchase status from Apple but never see your payment details, card numbers, or Apple ID credentials. Cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings.

California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to opt out of sale (we don't sell it), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Exercise them at the contact address below.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect information, including row-level security on our database so that, as a rule, you can only read your own records.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post changes with an updated date.
