MMCX.
MMCX LLC · Software for the AV/IP industry

The signal is a packet now.

Audio and video used to travel on their own cable. Now they share a switch with everything else in the building — and the person who has to make that work is usually the one nobody trained for it.

We build the software that closes that gap.

What we build

Product

Octet Operator is a training and reference app for AV network engineers. Interactive lessons on IP fundamentals and on the protocols the job actually runs on, timed troubleshooting scenarios, and a set of field calculators that work with no signal.

It is built for how the work happens: in a truck, on a loading dock, twenty minutes before doors.

MM·C·X = 2110

Roman numerals. M is a thousand, C a hundred, X ten. It reads as SMPTE ST 2110 — the standard that moved professional video onto IP networks, and the reason this company exists.
